What's Lurking In The Shadows At Mulberry?

This LFW I was really lucky to be able to go to a few of the shows-one of the best being Mulberry. Unfortunately my camera decided to be difficult and take bad quality photos so I apologise for that- and these are more build-up type photos (y'know, of the atmosphere and that) the catwalk photos are soon to come!

Brace Yourselves, People

The Fashion Weeks are back! Starting with New York Fashion Week this friday, 4 weekends of intense modelling, trendsetting, photography and blogging for all those involved with the shows. So to get ready for one hectic month, I'm following the motto of boyscouts worldwide "Be prepared". Enjoy!

Lilac Lips

I've just bought a new lipstick for spring in-yep, you guessed it- pastel, lilac to be exact. I love Lime Crime and it's my first lipstick by them. I got a bit creative with my camera so forgive the massive amount of photos.

I Spy With My Eye-Linered Eye.....

My favourite thing in the world is eyeliner. Especially liquid eyeliner.  I am only allowed make-up on the weekends due to school regulations (ugh) but every Saturday morning I get up and spend 15 minutes carefully making a perfect, jet black flick on both my eyes, which I then repeat the next day. But there is so much you can do with eye liner; you can wing it; you can flick it; you can make it sparkly or a bright colour; you can alter the shape of your eyes, well you get the idea..... But in the end, eyeliner is amazing and anyone can wear it. Here are a few of my favourite designs:

P.S. I would be lying if I said this wasn't inspired by Tavi's (The Style Rookie ) post on 50's stuff (if you go to the bottom there are hand drawn pictures) but her's is a totally different, sort of deep concept and mine is just eyeliner, so I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

A nice Classic flick is always nice, and it's the easiest to draw on.

A thicker half wing, half flick is good for parties too.
A full on winged eye is very cat like, a la Kate Moss
This is a thin flick, I usually wear this on weekends as it is easy and not too heavy.

New Years

I know New Year's Eve has been and gone, but that doesn't mean it's too late to decide your resolutions. Seeing as it's a Sunday I'm starting mine tomorrow (one of mine is to be less lazy......). If you can't think of any, try a few of these.

Take a leaf out of Stevie's book and try to achieve something every day, with some help from Heather Small of course.

Is you're trying to start a new sport, or just doing more exercise, why not do it in style with these pieces.

Or you could be more careful with money, by using one of these piggy banks.
The classic

The elephant....
The shiny

Anyway, Happy 2012 and enjoy a new year full of amazing posts ;) xxx

Christmassy Nails

Here are a few ideas to show your Christmas spirit through your nails.
Note these were all done by 14/15 year old girls so they can't be that hard to try out- We're no experts.

Merry

Xmas
I did these with Chanel Peridot, Essie Love, Beverly Hills, Model's Own Wah Nail Pen and Nailtopia's 3D Halloween Stickers (I only used the snowflake ones though) All Pictured on the right.

These Nails are more wintery than christmassy
I thought this effect made it look more seasonal, I set my colour settings on my camera to cold
For These I just used 2 coats of Chanel Black Pearl,
It felt wintery to me, all grey and sparkly.
OOHH, all christmassy!

These were done by my friend Flora using Supreme Nails' Nail Art Pens, I don't have a picture of them, sorry!
I hope you try these out, you'll get a lot of compliments-trust me, and Merry Christmas!

P.S.I always use a Revlon base coat and Essie Top Coat under/on the nail polish to make it stay longer.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs

I absolutely LOVE Daisy by Marc Jacobs, it is my favourite perfume from it's cute bottle and plastic daisies to its fragrant-yet-not-too-strong scent. I keep it on my desk at all times and constantly borrow my sisters solid perfume ring of it. But what's made me love it even more is the new advert. How cute? And this is one of my favourite songs!
Here it is. (p.s. the new 'eau so fresh' perfume also makes an appearance)
